Event Promotion Content
Produced engaging Instagram stories and posts to promote GISAU’s flagship events, including the Gala, Indomie collaboration, and orientation programs. Content included event announcements, countdowns, giveaways, and guest speaker reveals to drive attendance and excitement. These campaigns were tailored to reflect each event’s theme while maintaining brand consistency.
Gado-Gado Indonesian Student Association of UBC (GISAU) is a cultural and social club that celebrates Indonesian heritage, fosters community, and supports students through networking and shared experiences. As Creative Director, I build the marketing calendar, delegate tasks to the creative team, and manage GISAU’s social media channels to engage members and promote events.


Student Life & Club Operations Content
Designed social media content that captured student life and club milestones, such as first day of school, executive team introductions, and recruitment campaigns. Aimed to increase visibility and participation, these posts emphasized relatability and community engagement among UBC students, particularly within the Indonesian student community.
Designed a custom keychain featuring Gado-Gado, a traditional Indonesian dish and the namesake of GISAU’s internal community (Gado-Gado Indonesian Student Association of UBC). The keychain, hand-drawn using Procreate, was created as a welcome gift and incentive for over 100 new members, serving both as a token of appreciation and a wearable item to foster a sense of identity and belonging within the club.
Stickers
Created and hand-drew original sticker designs using Procreate, featuring Indonesian-themed puns to resonate with the Indonesian student community. The project introduced a unique and culturally relevant merchandise concept rarely seen in Vancouver, making it both innovative and appealing. Conducted cost analysis to source affordable production options and set student-friendly pricing, resulting in the sale of over 100 sticker sheets and successful fundraising for the club.

Designed visual banners for event registration forms to enhance user experience and maintain brand consistency. Each banner incorporated design elements aligned with GISAU’s social media content to ensure cohesive visual identity across all digital marketing platforms.

Designed visual banners for event registration forms to enhance user experience and maintain brand consistency. Each banner incorporated design elements aligned with GISAU’s social media content to ensure cohesive visual identity across all digital marketing platforms.
Printed Banner
Created a large-scale physical banner for GISAU’s flagship event in collaboration with Indomie Canada, held at the UBC Nest Atrium—one of the university’s highest-traffic areas. The banner was designed to visually match GISAU’s social media content and reflect the playful brand identity, ensuring consistent marketing across channels. Strategically placed to attract casual foot traffic and enhance event visibility, the banner helped boost brand exposure for both GISAU and Indomie Canada during an event with 80+ active participants.

Designed both printable and digital photo booth strips for GISAU’s End-of-Year Gala. The design elements were aligned with the event’s social media content, invitations, and presentations to ensure cohesive visual branding across all platforms. This consistency helped reinforce the event’s theme and contributed to a polished and memorable attendee experience.
